Here are some tips for you and your partner when oral sex is called for:

- Men should use a latex condom for fellatio.
- Women should use either saran wrap or one of those “Glyde” or “Lixx” oral sex barriers for cunnilingus.

It is recommended that a few drops of water-based lubricant to be added on the side of the barriers as this can increase the sensation transmitted to her. The uses of barriers for cunnilingus is not very common among the swinging community, but are accepted by most when explained.
- Do not floss your teeth immediately before the party. By doing this your gums are less likely to be able to keep pathogens out of the bloodstream.

- For women swingers, don’t let a men come to you mouth after oral sex.
- Men should not perform cunnilingus on women partner while she is menstruating.
- Do not perform any form of sexual activities if sores are present around the genital as this many be genital herpes or other symptoms of STD's.
