The view to the safety sex barriers of oral sex differs greatly from one to another. From a medical point of view it is clear the genital herpes can be easily transmitted to another during unprotected oral sex. However, some will argue that if herpes sore are not visible or present at the time of oral sex, then it is not infectious and that there is a low risk of transmission.
